I've been obsessing over amino acid quality for the past few days so I calculated the DIAAS (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digestible_Indispensable_Amino_Acid_Score) of Sunwarrior protein, since they're nice enough to put the amino acid content on the box:

(sorry if this table is ugly)

| Protein source | Histidine | Isoleucine | Leucine | Lysine | Met + Cys | Phe + Tyr | Threonine | Tryptophan | Valine |

|----------------+-----------+------------+---------+--------+-----------+-----------+-----------+------------+--------|

| reference | 16 | 30 | 61 | 48 | 23 | 41 | 25 | 6.6 | 40 |

| per 25g | 464 | 806 | 1385 | 1279 | 541 | 1412 | 596 | 151 | 895 |

| weighted | 116 | 107 | 91 | 107 | 94 | 138 | 95 | 92 | 90 |

DIAAS = 90 with the limiting amino acid being valine.

(weighted score is calculated as amino acids per 25g / 25 * 100 / reference)

A DIAAS of 90 is worse than soy protein but better than any other single plant protein source as far as I know. Sunwarrior uses a mix of pea and hemp which is a pretty good mixture.

Micheal you should publish your findings on different amino acid qualities! I would absolutely read that post.

This is a good list! Love reading insights into ppls lives like this. Also did not know creatine was vegan

Highly recommend the Timex Weekender for those that don't have a watch. Wearing a nice watch increases your aura by 25%

> Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones

I was recently shopping for new headphones and I should have checked your post first. I tried 3 pairs of headphones and the Sony WH-1000XM4 was my favorite.

The Sony Ult Wears had good sound, but they made my ears sweaty. The Sony WH-1000XM4 ear pads also make my ears sweaty, but it's a more common model so it was easier to find replacement ear pads that were compatible. These are the ear pads I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS3H78XG

Love that you have a timex watch on here. It's a super underrated brand for watches.

I like the style. Anything similar with glow in the dark hands and a stopwatch/ timer?

Is there any reason you recommend stannous fluoride toothpaste over nano hydroxyapetite toothpaste?

Don't know the deal with nanohydroxyapetite toothpaste! Would be interested in info about it.

Your enamel is made of hydroxyapetite. Fluoride toothpaste works by replacing the hydroxide in the center of the hydroxyapatite crystals with a fluorine atom, which modifies the crystals such that they are more resistant to the kinds of acids tooth decay causing bacteria make. Nano hydroxyapetite toothpaste essentially slots and fuses new hydroxyapetite crystals into the already existing structure of your enamel, actually repairing old damage. Both methods of action have their good qualities, but newish research indicates nano hydroxyapetite might be a little better.

Will look into this thank you!
